From A Converted Historic Garage to a Neighborhood Institution
The Porch was founded with a straightforward goal: create the warm, unpretentious gathering place every neighborhood deserves. We took inspiration from classic Southern front porches—where neighbors share cold iced drinks on humid afternoons, stories flow freely, and everyone feels immediately welcome.
Our original location in Winter Park transformed a vintage automotive repair garage on North Orange Avenue into a light-filled gastropub with roll-up garage doors, exposed brick, and reclaimed wood staves. We paired that relaxed atmosphere with serious culinary dedication: chef-driven smash burgers, wings brined in-house for 24 hours, and local Florida craft beers on tap.
